Mr. Benjamin Davou Dachomo attended St. Paul’s Primary School, Jos, where he obtained his first school leaving certificate in 1983. He proceeded to St Murumba college, Jos in 1989 and completed his secondary school education in 1995. He enrolled into the famous Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria where he obtained a Bachelor’s degree in political science in 2004. He holds an M.Sc. In public policy and Administration from the University of Jos.
Mr. Dachomo started his working career in the University of Jos as an Administrative Officer II in 2007. He served the University of Jos in the following capacities.
1.Administrative Officer, Center for Continuing Education.
2. Faculty Officer, Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences.
3.Senior Staff Establishment, where he briefly handled Documentation and leave matters and later served as the Desk Officer. Appointments and Promotions Committee (Senior staff) until his appointment
He has also handled several ad hoc responsibilities within the University of Jos and beyond.
He was appointed as the Ag, Registrar, Karl Kumm University on 26th August 2022. He became the first substantive Registrar of the University after the confirmation of his appointment by the 1st Governing Council of the University on 30th March 2023.
He has attended several national and international conferences. He has also presented a number of papers at workshops and conferences.
He is a fellow of the Institute of Policy Management Development [IPMD] and a member of the Association of Nigerian University Professional Administrators [ANUPA].
