Vice Chancellor of Karl Kumm University, Vom, Prof Nanven Audu Gambo has underscored the relevance of a contemporary technology-driven teaching and learning environment to enhance quality education in tertiary institutions in the country.
Speaking when he hosted the Board Chairman and management of Light Micro-Finance Bank who came to donate Ten Smart Digital Boards to the institution, Prof Gambo explained that for Universities to get it right, there must be deliberate efforts to provide and sustain modern technological teaching tools for both lecturers and students.
A statement signed by the Protocol and Information Officer, Karl Kumm University, Bulus Gambo quoted the Vice Chancellor expressing profound gratitude to the Light Micro-Finance Financial Bank for donating the Smart Digital Boards to the institution.
He advised both the lecturers and students of the institution to effectively utilize the equipment for their benefit.
Earlier in his remarks, the Chairman of the Board, Mr. Stephen Bathanna noted that the donation would assist in providing quality education in the university.
Mr Bathanna disclosed that despite the harsh reality experienced in the financial sector, the management and staff of the bank have remained committed to sustaining the tremendous achievements recorded by the bank.
Contributing, the Managing Director of the Bank, Mr. Alex Tambi disclosed that Karl Kumm University so dear to their hearts motivated them to assist the institution sustain its improved education standard.
He thanked the Vice Chancellor, management, and staff of the university for the warm reception accorded to them.
